Privacy Policy
The short version
All calculations on this site run entirely in your browser. No numbers you enter — salary, share counts, tax results — are ever sent to any server, because there is no server to send them to.
What we collect
Calculator inputs and results: nothing. They exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open. (If you use the "Import RSU gap" button, the gap is stored in your browser's own local storage so the estimated-payment tab can read it. It never leaves your device and you can clear it by clearing site data.)
Accounts: there are none. No login, no signup, no database of users.
Email signup: the email forms on this site are currently placeholders and submit nothing. When email signup launches, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and how it is used.
Analytics and cookies
This site does not currently run analytics or set tracking cookies.
Future advertising disclosure (required for AdSense approval): if display advertising is enabled in the future (e.g., Google AdSense), third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. No advertising cookies are in use at this time.
Data security
Because no personal or financial data is transmitted or stored by us, there is no database of your information to breach. The main risk to be aware of is your own device: anyone with access to your unlocked browser could see values you typed.
Children
This site is intended for adults managing equity compensation and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
